(Q) What medium do I use?
(A) I use Clairefontaine's Pastelmat and a variety of Pastels.(Q) How long does it take before I get my portrait?
(A) Depending on size, details etc usually no more than a week to ten days. Having said that, when I am really busy I work on a waiting list, which means first come first served. Should monthly payments be more convenient that is also an option.If you have a specific date in mind, for example the portrait is to be given as a gift, please let me know.(Q) Do I get the original drawing?
(A) Yes you do. Originals are drawn on Clairefontaine's Pastelmat.
Not being satisfied with the quality of the 'First Print' I have removed that option for now.(Q) Do you ship internationally?
(A) I do and usually without a frame but with instructions on framing as it is important to ensure the drawing remains clear of the glass. The process is simple it just involves the use of spacers. If requested I can ship the drawing framed.
Once packed you will be advised on the cost of shipping.(Q)Would you do a bespoke size?
(A) Yes. My portraits are drawn from large sheets of pastelmat paper and all are cut by hand so if there isn’t a size listed on my website please contact me for a quote.(Q)When do I pay?
(A) I will keep you posted with regular updates. Once you have received the final photograph of your portrait and are happy with the result the balance can then be paid. Once paid your portrait will be packaged ready for collecting or posting.You can view examples of my work below.All portraits come framed unless otherwise requested.
